Infinite Machine Unveils Olto: A $3,495 Connected E-Scooter Aiming to Redefine Urban Micromobility
Brooklyn-based startup Infinite Machine, backed by Andreessen Horowitz, has introduced the Olto—a street-legal e-scooter priced at $3,495. Designed for bike lanes, the vehicle features a 750W motor, 40-mile range, swappable battery, and modular accessories. Unlike its predecessor, the $10,000 P1 motorbike, the Olto requires no motorcycle license, targeting mainstream urban commuters.
The Cohen brothers, former Apple employees, have infused the Olto with sleek, software-first design. With GPS, LTE connectivity, and a focus on affordability, Infinite Machine aims to disrupt U.S. micromobility. The P1’s niche appeal contrasts sharply with the Olto’s practical ambitions, reflecting a strategic pivot toward broader adoption.
